At the helm of NIMA Marine is Nico Grove—a seasoned professional with a lifelong passion for the water and over 20 years of hands-on experience in the maritime and tourism industries. Specializing in Yachts and small craft, Nico holds a Lloyd’s Maritime Academy Diploma in Small Craft Surveying with a distinction in Small commercial craft. He is a member of both the International Institute of Marine Surveying (IIMS) and the Society of Consulting Marine Engineers and Ship Surveyors (SCMS). 

Nico’s career has included blue water deliveries,  chartering, more than a decade in marine salvage & towing, commercial scuba operations, asset and operations management, vessel maintenance & repair, refits, post hurricane cleanups and  marine surveying.

Now based in Port Stanley, ON, Nico brings a deep understanding of real-world maritime challenges and practical solutions.
